Sales Representative (M/F/D) – Open Source Solutions with Consulting Focus


Are you a sales professional with a passion for IT solutions that require explanation and would like to actively help shape the Open Source Revolution for Digital Sovereignty? At credativ GmbH, we have been a leader in Open Source support since 1999 and offer comprehensive services for our customers’ infrastructure.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a results-oriented and communicative personality as a Sales Representative (m/f/d), who will conquer new markets with us and live our credativ mission statement.

Your Mission as Part of the Team

As a Sales Representative (m/f/d), you are an important pillar of our sales strategy. You report directly to the Head of Sales and are responsible for sales in your assigned sales area or product segment (e.g. in growing regions such as Berlin, Rhine-Ruhr, Stuttgart or Dresden).

  • Active new customer acquisition (Outbound Sales) and building your own customer base.
  • Maintenance and expansion of long-term, existing customer relationships, based on our goal of building trust.
  • Identification of business opportunities and development of sustainable, customer-specific solutions in close coordination with the technical PreSales.
  • We are consultants: We do not sell for the sake of selling, but rather seek the best, technically sound solutions for our customers.
  • Offer management: Creation, tracking and negotiation up to successful contract conclusion.
  • Field service & presence: Preparation and execution of customer appointments as well as active participation in trade fairs, events and conferences.
  • Commitment in coordination with the Head of Sales and Sales Operations for forecast and pipeline maintenance.

 

Your Profile – Open Source Enthusiast, Sales Talent and Consultant

You bring not only sales experience, but also a deep understanding of IT topics and our corporate culture:

  • Successfully completed commercial or technical training, ideally with IT reference.
  • Several years of experience in the sales of IT solutions or services requiring explanation.
  • Good knowledge of the markets and trends in the areas of Open Source Software, infrastructure or Managed Services.
  • You are reliable, committed and stand for the quality of your work by checking it precisely.
  • You are communicative and strong in negotiation, show self-motivation and result orientation.
  • You contribute actively and with your own initiative, even beyond your own area of responsibility.
  • You have a good ability to understand technical contexts and to present complex offers in an understandable way.
  • Negotiation skills in German and English are a requirement in our customer environment.
  • Class B driving licence.
