The credativ-Postgres team is an association of PostgreSQL specialists, which successfully collaborates in remote work and hybrid work models. PostgreSQL is especially used by many of our customers as a business critical database. Here we actively support its operation and are looking for a highly motivated additional team member.

You will become an important member of our Open Source team, where many of the leading German Open Source specialists realize our customer projects. Your future colleagues have extremely broad knowledge, which makes our company so unique and which they would like to share with you.

What tasks you can expect:

• Long-term PostgreSQL projects like migrations
• 3rd-level PostgreSQL support, optionally on-call
• PostgreSQL-related projects
• Database reliability engineering
• Architecture review, performance analysis and health checks
• Training and conference talks

What you should be able to povide:

• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL at administrative and at
  architectural/source code level
• Coding experience in C/C++, Python or other languages
• Implementation and operational experience with PostgreSQL high
  availability solutions (especially Patroni and Pacemaker)
• Experience with other PostgreSQL ecosystem projects like pgbouncer,
  backup (pgBackRest, Barman) and monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of configuration management systems (e. g. Ansible) and
  general Linux system engineering
• Motivation and team spirit
• The willingness to contribute your ideas and knowledge
• Spoken and written communication in English and German
• The ability to seek and find customer oriented solutions
• The willingness to travel occasionally
