Welcome to our open-source virtualization meetup in NRW on June 11, 2026 between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM! This is a place for everyone interested in open-source virtualization technologies—from KVM and Proxmox to XCP-ng and related platforms. We meet to share hands-on experience, discuss real-world challenges, and exchange tips and tools that make our day-to-day work easier.
The format is simple: Two to three short talks to kick things off, followed by an open discussion and plenty of time for questions. Drinks during this first part are on us. Afterwards, those who wish can join us for dinner at the Italian restaurant on the ground floor and enjoy more drinks—at their own expense.
Whether you run clusters in production, tinker with home labs, or simply want to learn what is possible with open-source virtualization—you will find like-minded people here. The meetup is informal, technical, and community-driven. Drop by, bring your questions and ideas, and help build a local exchange around open-source virtualization!
Just a quick heads-up: To ensure everyone can take part in the conversation, this is an English-language event. All talks and general announcements will be in English.
Admission is free, but we ask that you register on Luma: https://luma.com/xhe5zicy
